Tonight I heard the news, "You are approved". This was not regarding our mortgage application. This was regarding our adoption application. That's right. Dave and I are adopting from Haiti. Within the next couple years (we pray) there will be a new addition to our family. Our son's name is Andy Zephir. He is an amazing 10 year old boy from Port-Au-Prince who we met during a work trip to an orphanage in March. We are overjoyed and honored to have this blessing in our life. The waiting will be torturous but the reward will be great. Dave and I will be updating this blog as we continue through the journey.
